July is the month of Independence Day, but this month represents so much more than fireworks and American pride. July is the month for picnics in the park, spontaneous road trips to the beach, and backyard barbecues, just to name a few. The point is, the Fourth of July is not the only day of the month to spend outside having fun. If you would like to add to your July calendar, you are in the right place. Stockton Ports v. Modesto Nuts: Independence Day Game

Date: Thursday, July 4, 2019

Time: 4:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Admission: Ticket prices vary

If there is any baseball game of the season to attend, this is the one. The Independence Day game is not just any ordinary game day – there will be a special live rock concert, an all-you-can-eat BBQ special, an exclusive firework show, and a jersey auction! Additionally, Independence Day happens to fall on Thirsty Thursday, where attendants can get a 12 oz. draft beer for only $1 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. With so many unique features, it is hard to pass up this game. Bring a friend or the whole family and come support the Stockton Ports!

Happy Together: 2019 Tour

Date: Thursday, July 11, 2019

Time: 7:30 p.m.

Location: 242 E Main St, Stockton, CA 95202

Admission: $30 – $45 tickets

Music fans all over the nation have been jamming out to the hits from the ’60s and ’70s ever since the Summer of Love. This tour allows all of these fans to relive these eras that have permanently affected the history and evolution of music. The Happy Together tour is returning to Bob Hope Theater with six headlining artists who left their mark on the music of the 1960’s – 1970’s: The Cowsills, The Buckinghams, The Turtles, The Classics IV, Gary Puckett, and The Union Gap and Mark Lindsay.

GymStars Block Party

Date: Friday, July 19, 2019

Time: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Location: 1740 W Hammer Ln, Stockton, CA 95209

Admission: Free

GymStar is the premier sport and entertainment facility that has been happily serving families in Stockton and surrounding communities since 1999. Now they are inviting you to come celebrate their 20th anniversary and help support a cause that matters. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m., followed by a day of music, food, games, raffle prizes, and a visit from your kid’s favorite superheroes and princesses! All event proceeds will be donated in support of the Emergency Food Bank.
