Bay Area Accident Kills Stockton Man. A multi-vehicle accident near the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge claimed the life of a Stockton man on August 25, 2018. The collision occurred at approximately 2:20 in the afternoon along the eastbound lanes of Highway 92 in the vicinity of the Industrial Boulevard onramp. A Stockton man driving a box truck had picked up his wife from the Union City Farmers’ Market to come back home when he was involved in a collision with a big rig and other vehicles. Unfortunately, the man never made it home as he suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Officials have identified the victim as 62-year-old Ly Thao Nyia Yi of Stockton.

So far, little is known about the multi-vehicle accident due to an ongoing investigation.
