Pedestrian Killed Near Roseville Road in North Highlands Train Collision
A woman was struck and killed in a North Highlands train collision on January 8. A spokesperson for the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the accident happened around the intersection of Roseville and Walerga roads shortly after 5:00 p.m. The woman was not killed on a crossing, according to a representative of the Union Pacific Railroad.
Investigation Underway to Determine Cause of North Highlands Train Collision
An investigation is underway to determine what happened to cause the death. The name of the deceased will not be released until the County Coroner’s Office has notified her family.
