If Oriental art fascinates you, this event is just for you. BAMPFA is hosting the first exhibition of this kind that will present an extraordinary form of Zen-inspired Japanese calligraphy. The exhibition will have on display a variety of valuable works by Chinese monks that had moved to Japan.
It will also present an array of writings created by Japanese monks that drew inspiration from their examples. This unique exhibition has been selected from Stuart Katz’s private collection. Visit here for more information.
