What Happened?
The California Highway Patrol reported that a two-vehicle collision involving a red Ford Focus and a white Kia occurred near the intersection of Kimberly Road and Locus Road in Redding. The CHP reported this accident as a head-on collision with both vehicles suffering major front-end damage and requiring a tow-truck to remove them from the scene.

Yes. According to law enforcement officials, one involved party suffered traumatic injuries in this collision and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
