Sacramento Entrance Ramp Accident – A two-vehicle collision resulted in injury on a Sacramento on-ramp. It happened on September 11, 2018, along southbound State Route 51 during the morning hours. The accident blocked lane two of the highway, according to a representative of the California Highway Patrol (CHP), and a tow truck was called to remove at least one of the vehicles involved.

The collision occurred at around 9:45 in the morning along the highway at the Auburn Boulevard on-ramp in North Sacramento. The two vehicles involved were a 2018 Chevy Volt and a Toyota sedan. It was reported that the airbags deployed in both cars. One injured person requested to be transported to a hospital due to injuries. No further information has been released on the extent of those injuries or identity of the man who was injured.
