Wrongful Death Claims
When a negligent motorist or others cause a pedestrian fatality, a wrongful death claim may be placed by immediate family members. An attorney can investigate traffic collision cases to determine whether wrongful death claims are supported by evidence. A lawyer will gather evidence such as traffic camera footage, reports by the police, witness statements, medical records, and pictures of the accident scene. The at-fault party’s negligence and the cause of death can also be supported by expert witnesses.
