Fatality and Injuries Reported in Traffic Crash on Cosumnes River Boulevard
One person died and three others suffered injuries in a Sacramento traffic crash on December 29. The collision involved two vehicles and occurred near the Cosumnes River Boulevard intersection with Delta Shores Circle. The Sacramento Police Department reported that four people were involved in the collision.
Three People Hospitalized and One Died in Two-Vehicle Crash
One person was declared deceased at the accident scene, and the other three were taken to a hospital. One had reportedly suffered critical injuries, while the other two had trauma described as moderate.
The area along Cosumnes River Boulevard was shut down between Franklin and Freeport boulevards as an investigation into the cause of the traffic crash was conducted.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has recently identified the decedent as 72-year-old James Lemelin of Sacramento. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
