Accident at US 50 Connector Involves Two Vehicles
A two-vehicle crash at a freeway connector in Sacramento on May 7 resulted in injuries to at least one person. The collision occurred along eastbound US 50 at the northbound 51 connector around 12:37 p.m. A Toyota 4Runner and Honda Accord were involved, according to the incident report filed by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
One Person Transported to Hospital After Two-Vehicle Crash
One person, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, was transported to a hospital with injuries before the arrival of the CHP. Sacramento Fire Department emergency responders reported that other injuries in the collision were minor. The incident is being investigated by authorities to determine which driver was at fault and how the collision occurred.
Reasons a Two-Vehicle Crash Happens
Accidents involving two vehicles occur frequently, ranging from rear-end collisions to broadside crashes. They include:
