Family Safety Fair

Spend your Saturday at the Suisun Kroc Center for the Family Safety Fair hosted by the Solano County members of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). At this free event, the CHP will be offering car seat inspections, tips on when to transfer a child to a booster seat and proper car seat installation. Additionally, the CHP will offer bicycle helmet inspections and bicycle repair when needed, bicycle safety information, and appropriate riding skills. Impact Teen Drivers will be sharing information about their organization in addition to discussing the dangers of distracted driving. Please bring your bike, helmets, and any car seats that you currently use.
Wine Tasting Train Ride
Date: Saturday, September 28, 2019

Location: 5848 State Highway 12, Suisun City, CA 94585
Admission: $35 – $45 tickets
The Western Railway Museum invites you to this fun, leisurely 11-mile roundtrip on the Vintage Comet Wine Tasting Train, where you can expect local wine samples, paired food bites, and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The train ride will last approximately 90 minutes, with a stop at the end of the line where everyone can socialize and grab some pictures against the natural backdrop. All event proceeds benefit the Western Railway Museum. You must be 21+ to attend.
Scarecrow Building Contest

Admission: Free
Calling all non-profit organizations, churches, schools, and sports teams! The Fairfield, Dixon, and Cordelia Rotary Clubs are offering cash prizes for the top entries in their annual scarecrow contest. First place will take home $1,000, second place will get $500, and third place will receive $250. The scarecrows will be showcased at the Rotary Annual Pumpkin Festival, where they will be judged and voted on by festival attendees. This is a fun and festive way to raise funds for your team/organization while making something unique.
