Officials in Modesto reported a serious injury bicycle crash on the morning of Monday, August 29, 2022. The cycling crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Yosemite Boulevard in the vicinity of Parry Avenue, according to the Modesto Police Department.

In a preliminary report by Modesto PD, it was revealed that a driver was traveling eastbound on Yosemite Boulevard when their vehicle allegedly struck a cyclist in the area. The bicycle rider was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Modesto PD indicated that the motorist remained at the scene.
