Tragic Rollover Crash Near Galt

What Happened?
Officials said five people were hurt after the vehicle they were riding in rolled over near Galt.
What Type of Injuries?
There were five injured. Two of the injured were adults, the other three were children. One of the children was ejected in the rollover crash, Cosumnes Fire says.
One of the children may not have been in a car seat.
One of the people involved in the crash has serious injuries, but it’s unclear who. Three others have moderate injuries, while another only has minor injuries.
Where Did the Crash Occur?
The crash happened in the vicinity of Twin Cities and Pallandini Roads.
What Caused the Vehicle to Rollover?
It is unclear what sequence of events took place prior to the crash.
It generally takes about ten days for an investigating agency to prepare a police report.
In many rollover cases, a severe injury can occur when the roof of the vehicle makes contact with the ground. The roof crushes inward hitting the occupants inside. The other scenario that happens in roof crushing accidents is the windows, front or back windshields or doors burst open when the roof hits the ground. This causes the shape of the vehicle to become deformed making wide gaps that can cause the occupants inside to be ejected from the vehicle.
