Turlock Motorcycle Crash Fatality
A Turlock motorcycle crash fatality occurred recently near the Countryside Plaza. A man was riding his motorcycle westbound along Fulkerth Road at approximately 6:08 in the evening. At the same time, an eastbound Chevrolet pickup truck was turning left onto the on-ramp of Highway 99 north. For unknown reasons, the rider struck the rear of the Chevrolet and was propelled from the motorcycle. Medical responders were called to the scene to transport the injured motorcyclist to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Sadly, the rider succumbed to his injuries during hospitalization. Officials have identified the motorcyclist as 39-year-old Michael Scott Beede of Turlock.

Investigation of the Turlock Motorcycle Crash Fatality
A cause of the accident has not yet been determined by the Turlock Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team. However, a preliminary report suggested speeding may have contributed to the fatal collision.
