Out-of-Control Car Crashes on State Route 99

A Stockton major injury accident occurred on April 28 when a driver lost control of their vehicle. The collision happened just after 12:00 noon on State Route 99 northbound near the Cherokee Road off-ramp. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported the Honda Pilot swerved in the roadway, and the driver lost control. The vehicle then rolled over.

Although both occupants of the vehicle managed to exit, one of them suffered a major injury in the crash. The vehicle ended up next to a chain-link fence on the side of the roadway, damaging about 20 feet of it. The CHP traffic accident division is investigating the cause of the accident.
