When Minor Accident Injuries Turn Out to Be Major
Minor accidents often lead individuals to believe their injuries are negligible or will quickly heal independently. However, some injuries may not fully reveal their severity until hours, days, or weeks after the incident. Symptoms such as persistent pain, swelling, dizziness, or reduced mobility can indicate underlying issues that require immediate medical attention.
For example, what may seem like a minor bump in a Mount Shasta collision can turn out to be a concussion, or a slight ache in the neck might be a symptom of a whiplash injury. Ignoring these signs can lead to complications that make recovery more complex and can even result in long-term health problems. It’s always advisable to seek a medical evaluation after an accident, no matter how minor it may appear, to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.
