STOCKTON, CA — CHP patrol logs recorded a car accident on Interstate 5 near the Pershing Ave. off-ramp on Tuesday, April 1. At 12:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to investigate the accident, which included a possible minor injury. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.

TURLOCK, CA – On Tuesday, April 1, a Turlock motorcycle officer who was in pursuit of a speeding driver was injured in a crash with another motorist on Hawkeye Avenue near North Palm Street.
The Turlock Police Department officer, Gavin Allison, engaged his lights and sirens in order to catch up to the speeding vehicle when his motorcycle collided with a second motorist, who was not involved in the pursuit. The motorist was uninjured, but Officer Allison suffered moderate injuries to his leg and arm, which required stitches. He is, however, expected to make a complete recovery. The motorcycle was severely damaged. There was no evidence that drugs or alcohol were involved.
The crash remains under investigation.

MANTECA, CA — Wednesday, April 2, around 1:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol (CHP) was dispatched to a two-car collision on eastbound Highway 120 near the Main Street off-ramp. Possible minor injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is unclear and remains under investigation.
