However, County Road 31 saw a high number of collisions, especially between Winters and Highway 505. Additionally, Highway 16 had numerous accidents despite running through mostly rural areas.

Severity
Yolo County motorcycle accidents were much more severe than most collisions. While the overall fatality rate for Yolo accidents was around 2.5 percent, motorcycle accidents had a rate of nearly 4.6 percent. Similarly, motorcycle accidents involved a severe injury at a rate of about 22 percent while crashes overall were at only around 7.5 percent. This means that motorcycle accidents were nearly three times as likely to involve major trauma.
