Driver Negligence Can Lead to a Pedestrian Fatality Accident
When a driver is careless or fails to pay attention, the risk of causing a fatal pedestrian accident is greatly increased. Driver negligence can include anything from fatigue and failing to obey traffic signals or speed limits to intoxication while behind the wheel.
Drivers should also avoid using their cell phones while behind the wheel and remain aware of their surroundings. It’s easy to become distracted when driving, but drivers must maintain a sharp focus on the road to minimize the risk of an accident. Doing so can help prevent tragic accidents from occurring and save lives.
