Analyzing an Injury Accident
To collect the evidence that supports a client’s claim for a T-bone accident injury, an investigation is needed. The following steps are taken by our investigators to gather that proof:
- Reviewing the police report: Taking the time to review the police report carefully will ensure that mistakes don’t negatively impact the client’s compensation claim. It is possible for corrections to be made if necessary.
- Performing accident reconstruction: Through the reconstruction of the accident, we can determine where and how the vehicles collided. Diagrams of traffic accidents show the location of vehicles before, during, and after a crash. Both civil courts and insurance companies use this type of investigative evidence to determine which driver caused the accident.
- Looking for video surveillance: It is necessary to examine traffic cameras in the area in order to determine whether video evidence exists of the accident. The accident can be subpoenaed if recordings exist.
- Interviewing witnesses: During the investigation, witnesses are interviewed for corroborating statements regarding the collision’s causes. Some people may have recorded the accident with their cell phones, providing additional evidence.
