Antelope Teenager Survives Hit and Run Accident

The hit and run accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to find the perpetrator of the crime. What Happened
The accident happened at Antelope Road and Woodhawk Way. Scott Lambert, age 16, was making his way to school at Antelope High when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver, instead of stopping and offering assistance, kept going, which resulted in a hit and run accident. According to the attending surgeon, Lambert suffered amnesia from the impact and neither remembers the accident nor the driver or vehicle that hit him.
Aftermath of the Crash
According to the report, Lambert awoke lying on the sidewalk and waved to attract attention from passing motorists. However, even though there is heavy traffic along Antelope at around 7:00 in the morning, none of the drivers stopped to render assistance or call for emergency help. Lambert suffered a head injury in the crash and was forced to try and stop the bleeding with one hand while he dialed 911 with the other. His mother does not understand why no one stopped to render assistance to her son. A GoFundMe site has been set up to help with Lambert’s expenses.
