Car Crash Fatality Reported in Antioch
The Antioch Police Department reported a fatality following a car crash at the intersection of Silverado Drive and James Donlon Boulevard. In a news release by Antioch PD, the incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. and involved two vehicles.

A preliminary report by authorities revealed that a pickup truck and a BMW were involved in an accident at the intersection. Officials reported that the pickup truck overturned following the incident. The pickup truck driver, Willie Swanson, 40, of Antioch, was allegedly ejected from the vehicle. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the crash site.
The BMW driver and their passenger had complaints of pain and received treatment at an area hospital, officials said. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined by Antioch PD. No other details on the two-vehicle collision on James Donlon Boulevard and Silverado Drive in Antioch were immediately available.
