I’m Ed Smith, a personal injury lawyer in Modesto. A two-vehicle collision took place near Patterson during the afternoon hours of Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Unfortunately, a female driver involved in the collision suffered traumatic injuries as a result.
What Happened?
Officers from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision along Sycamore Avenue in the vicinity of Eucalyptus Avenue. When officers arrived, they discovered a female driver that was trapped inside her car. Authorities extricated the female driver and immediately transported her to the hospital where she was listed in critical condition. A male motorist was also involved in the accident and suffered minor injuries. The man was treated at the scene.
Preliminary Investigation
According to Deputy Royjindar Singh from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, motorists traveling along Eucalyptus Avenue have stop signs at the intersection and those driving along Sycamore Avenue do not. Authorities found that one of the motorists that was driving along Eucalyptus Avenue ran the stop sign. However, the driver that ran the stop sign has not yet been identified.
