Car Crashed into Police Vehicle

A Stockton Police Department SUV was involved in an accident with another vehicle on the morning of Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Thankfully, there were no significant injuries sustained in the accident.

What Happened?

A vehicle reported as a black Ford Mustang convertible was driving near Rose Street and Sutter Street in Stockton. For reasons that are not known, the vehicle did not brake at the stop sign close to the identified intersection. The Mustang then sideswiped a Stockton Police Department SUV. No severe injuries were declared in the accident. However, both of the drivers involved in the crash mentioned symptoms of pain and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Accidents Involving Government Vehicles

It is important to note that when a person is injured by a government entity vehicle due to no fault of their own, they have only 6 months or 180 days from the date of their injury to file a claim. Additionally, there are many other filing deadlines that they must meet. For more information, contact an experienced personal injury attorney.
