Three people were injured in a Carmichael traffic collision on June 8. The accident happened on Fair Oaks Boulevard between Bryan Way and Miles Lane at about 10:00 p.m. Two vehicles were involved, according to officials with Sacramento Metro Fire. Three people were injured in the collision, two with major trauma, and were transported to a hospital for medical care. Authorities are investigating to determine how the accident happened and to assign fault.

Accidents Involving Two Vehicles in a Carmichael Traffic Collision

Two-vehicle crashes are predominantly caused by driver negligence, though factors such as vehicle malfunctions and road conditions can also contribute. The primary factors leading to collisions include:

  • Speed: Speeding is a significant contributor to traffic accidents. Excessive speed reduces a driver’s ability to control the vehicle and increases the stopping distance needed to prevent a collision.
  • Red light running: Drivers who run a red light are common, and usually they are moving at a higher speed. This increases the risk of serious injuries in a Carmichael traffic collision.
  • Fatigue: With the rise in swing shifts and multiple jobs, fatigued driving has become more prevalent. Fatigued drivers often exhibit similar impairments to those who are intoxicated, including slower reaction times.
  • Distractions: Drivers distracted by texting, adjusting the radio, or engaging with passengers fail to react accurately in emergencies.
  • Intoxication: Despite extensive campaigns against drunk driving, it remains a significant threat. Drunk drivers often weave between lanes and fail to maintain consistent speeds, increasing the likelihood of a Carmichael traffic collision.

Investigating a Two-Vehicle Crash

An accident attorney plays a crucial role in representing clients seeking compensation from the at-fault party. The lawyer’s job involves investigating the injury claim and gathering evidence to support it through various methods, such as:

  • Reviewing the police report to identify and address errors and questioning witnesses.
  • Conducting an accident reconstruction to determine the sequence of events and identify the responsible party by analyzing the point of impact and movement of the vehicles.
  • Checking for video evidence from cameras at or near the accident scene, which can be subpoenaed to bolster the compensation claim.

By building a strong case based on collected evidence, the legal team works to secure the maximum compensation for the client. Doing so enables our injured clients to move on with their lives without financial stress and by knowing their losses are recovered.

Our team has consistently achieved this goal for numerous clients, ensuring that those injured due to a driver’s negligence do not bear the financial burden of their recovery.
