Antioch Pedestrian Auto Accident Kills 11-year-old

On Thursday, February 27, 2020, an 11-year-old boy tragically lost his life after being involved in an Antioch pedestrian auto accident. According to the Antioch Police Department (APD), the tragic vehicle accident reportedly involved one vehicle and happened at night in a residential area of the city. The collision remains under investigation by local officials.

APD reports indicated that this crash occurred at around 6:45 p.m. on Lone Tree Way at the intersection of Deer Valley Road near Antioch Water Park and Deer Valley High School. The child had been crossing the intersection when he was struck by a white-colored sports car. Accidents and Grief

After suffering the loss of a person in your family in a deadly car accident, many people go through an intense grieving process. During this period, grieving people can experience a wide range of emotions, including anger, fear, depression, and more. In some cases, people feel like they are in a state of shock and may not be able to accept what has happened for a period of time.

All of these responses are normal, and it’s very important to take care of yourself during this time. Grieving individuals are often able to process their emotions by seeking support from members of their friend group, family, and community. Calling An Attorney

Sadly, fatal accidents can also cause serious financial issues for families. In many cases, decedents receive medical care before they pass away, and family members are left with steep hospital bills. In others, grieving can make it difficult for people to work, resulting in stress and, possibly, lost income. Furthermore, funeral and burial costs can be shockingly high, and many families worry about how they will afford a proper ceremony.

However, it’s possible for families to get help by claiming compensation for their losses through wrongful death claims. By working with a trusted Antioch wrongful death lawyer, many families can recover payments that give them stability during a very difficult time. While it’s not possible to replace a person you care about, these payments can be vital for grieving families and often cover both economic and personal damages.
