From Training Wheels to a BMX Racing Bike
Six-year-old Citrus Heights BMX girl wonder, Annalyse Solano rode a bike with training wheels four or five times and then graduated to a racing bike.
Annalyse said she began watching her dad and brothers ride their BMX bikes and started practicing hard to develop her own skills.
Classes Were being Offered
The family learned that classes in BMX racing were being offered and they decided to turn their love for this sport into a family outing. Annalyse’s father has been passionate for this sport since he was a young boy. He is thrilled to have passed on his enthusiasm and love for BMX racing to his children.
Competitive Nature
Annalyse’s father explains that it his daughter’s intensely competitive nature that has pushed her forward in this sport. He said she is very determined and focused on her goals.
Additionally, she is always practicing so that she remains the best BMX racer for her age group.
Grand National Championships
Later this month, Annalyse, a Citrus Heights native, will compete to defend her title at the Grand National Championships. She is eager to bring home a big trophy.
