You may have noticed the DUI/Driver’s License check points saturating the city of Citrus Heights this past weekend. Well, it’s NOT going away anytime soon.
Take heed: Between the hours of 8 pm and 3 am saturation patrols will be occurring through Labor Day, September 6, 2015.
Five Sacramento County Police agencies are involved in putting up DUI check points throughout Sacramento county to sniff out drunk drivers.
Citrus Heights Police Department is working hard to keep our streets safe this summer.
Also involved with this effort is the California Office of Traffic Safety. The California Office of Traffic Safety’s mission statement is to effectively and efficiently administer traffic safety grant funds to reduce traffic deaths, injuries, and economic losses.
Please folks, don’t drink and drive.
