The accident happened on Greenback Lane in the vicinity of Birdcage Street at approximately 6:00 p.m. According to Citrus Heights Police, the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet when the crash happened. The rider was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The motor vehicle driver stayed at the scene of the accident and was answering the officer’s questions.
