Crash Fatally Injures Woman Near Fresno County
I’m Ed Smith, a Fresno car accident lawyer. A crash involving two vehicles happened near Biola on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. The crash, unfortunately, claimed the life of a female motorist.

What Happened?
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a two-vehicle crash occurred just before 6:00 am at the intersection of Ashlan Avenue and Howard Avenue. Authorities reported that the female driving a blue Hyundai allegedly pulled out directly in front of an oncoming white pickup truck. The driver of the truck was unable to avoid the Hyundai, resulting in a serious accident. The impact propelled both vehicles into an orchard on the side of the roadway.
Was Anybody Injured?
Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the car accident. They located both involved motorists at the scene to render immediate medical treatment and evaluation. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. The other motorist in the Hyundai, sadly, succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
What Caused the Car Accident?
Officials have not yet determined the exact cause of the car accident. A Traffic Collision Report is usually processed one to two weeks from the date of the accident.
