Thursday Live! Holiday Show
On Thursday, December 7, 2017, The Davis Odd Fellows will be hosting a free Christmas concert at the Odd Fellows Hall. The concert will feature the music of Johnny Cash and friends performed by Davis All-Star Musicians and is open to all ages.

Art About
On Friday, December 8, 2017, the city of Davis will be hosting its monthly Art About event. Held in Downtown Davis, the evening includes art viewings and artist receptions at local businesses and galleries. Attendees are invited to guide themselves through the art walk and enjoy free refreshments, the opportunity to meet local artists, and to listen to live music performances.
Each exhibit will be hosted by individual businesses that make up Davis’ downtown area, creating a diverse and intimate evening of art exploration. An average of around 30 different venues participate every month, hosting sculptures, paintings, jewelry, dance performances, and more.

Hopped Up Comedy
On Friday, December 8, 2017, Davis’ own craft brewery, Sudwerk, will be hosting a live comedy event featuring local and touring comedians. Attendees will be able to enjoy food from local foods trucks and excellent beer while listening to the comedy of performers such as James Frey, Justin Clark, Bair Singe, and more.
Tickets for the event cost 20 dollars and include the price of your first beer. The event has limited seating and people who would like to attend can secure a spot at this site.
Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Tours
Saturday, December 9, 2017, local docents will take visitors on a tour covering the expansive and beautiful Yolo Wildlife Area that spans 25 square miles of the center of one America’s richest agricultural zones, near the bustling Sacramento area, and on the side of one of the longest continuous highways in the world.
The Yolo Wildlife Area constitutes 16,000 acres of land and is the home of almost 200 individual bird species and tour attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the area’s avian inhabitants while watching them in their natural habitat. The event is free and begins at 9:00 am at 45211 County Road 32B in Parking Lot A.
