Elk Grove Pokemon Go Robbery
There have been many scary reports in the news today in regard to the new and popular smart phone game, Pokemon Go.
What Happened?
Two Pokemon Go players were approached at gunpoint early Friday morning on July 22, 2016. At approximately 1:20 am, the two players were inside their parked vehicle at the Karamanos Park on the corner of Magnolia Hill Way in Elk Grove. The Elk Grove Police Department stated that the two men, one armed with a gun, approached and demanded the victims to give up possession of their property. Out of fear for the safety of their lives, the two victims gave their possessed property away and the two men ran away from the scene.
Pokemon Go Robbery Suspect Descriptions
One of the males involved in the robbery that took place at the Elk Grove Karamanos Park was reported in detail as 6 feet in height, approximately 140 pounds, and wore a tan and gray jacket and jeans. The other reported male was described as 5 feet 10 inches in height, approximately 170 pounds, and wore a red t-shirt and black shorts.

Everyone is encouraged to provide any tips or observations in regard to the incident to contact the Elk Grove Police Department. No one sustained any injuries in the reported incident.
