The collisions that have occurred have been nothing short of devastating. With that in mind, I put together some helpful tips, emergency basics and an emergency car kit list.
Emergency Basics to Keep in Mind
- Put the telephone number for your emergency roadside tow service into your cell phone contacts;
- Be sure to check that your spare tire is properly inflated. Set a reminder to check the inflation every six months;
- Make sure the car’s jack and lug wrench are both present in your trunk. Be sure you know how to use both in case of an emergency;
- Call the California Highway Patrol or 9-1-1 for assistance in getting your disabled vehicle off the roadway.
