Getting to Arnold, CA
Arnold is 95 miles from Sacramento. If you plan to drive, it takes just a little over two hours to get there with light traffic. Arnold gets about 50 inches of rain and 73 inches of snow on average per year. If you plan to go during the winter months, chains must be installed on your tires.
If you plan to fly, the closest airport is Modesto City-County Airport (MOD). Modesto is about 73 miles from Arnold. The airport receives flights from Sacramento International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, and Reno-Tahoe International Airport. From the airport, you can either rent a car or take public transportation to Arnold. Calaveras Transit provides bus routes throughout Calaveras County.
