Fatal Accident on Del Puerto Canyon Road
The CHP recently reported a fatal single-vehicle accident at Diablo Grande Parkway and Del Puerto Canyon Road in Stanislaus County. The incident occurred on December 22, 2023, shortly after 9:10 p.m. and involved a 2004 Chrysler, officials said.
Details on the Fatal Accident on Del Puerto Canyon Road
A preliminary release by authorities indicated that the Chrysler allegedly veered off the roadway and traveled down a steep cliff. The vehicle reportedly overturned and came to a rest in a shallow creek, the CHP reported.
Sadly, the driver and passenger both suffered fatal injuries in the solo car crash. Officials have recently identified the decedents as 24-year-old Lee Her and 27-year-old Wee Vang, both Stockton residents. Separate GoFundMe pages have been set up for the families of Lee Her and Wee Vang to assist with final resting costs.
An investigation is ongoing by officials, and no further details are available.
