Fatal Bicyclist Accident Reported at Railyards Boulevard
A fatal bicyclist accident happened in Sacramento on August 17, and the vehicle driver fled the scene. The crash occurred on Railyards Boulevard at Bercut Drive, which parallels the West Side Freeway, around 5:30 a.m. When officers with the Sacramento Police Department arrived, the bicycle rider was found to be seriously injured and down on the road.

Although fire department emergency responders attempted measures to save the man’s life, he died at the scene. The vehicle being sought in the fatal bicycle incident was described by police as an Acura TL, dark in color and with driver’s side damage.
