Seeking Financial Recovery in Farm Accident Cases
Workers in the agricultural field provide essential services in and around California. Whether on a farm or in another agricultural setting, working in this industry may require extensive hours for the produce that our nation depends on. The unfortunate reality about working or driving near agricultural areas is that it may come with various risks, resulting in accidents, injuries, and even fatalities in some extreme cases. Agricultural workers and drivers alike face unique dangers while sharing the road. This is due to the overwhelming size and weight of farming equipment compared to passenger vehicles.
Farming accidents arising from negligence may be the result of an employer that does not cease the use of a faulty or broken piece of farming equipment, an employer that fails to properly train agricultural workers on the use of farming equipment, a piece of farm equipment that is dangerous or defective, and a company that fails to put sufficient warning labeling on their products. Moreover, a farm owner, employer, or operator who fails to exercise due care while operating farming equipment may be held liable for the resulting harm caused to others and the damages incurred.
