Wrongful Death Accident Investigations

When families want to file a wrongful death claim for damages following the loss of a loved one in a fatal Modesto motorcycle collision, an investigation is essential to collect evidence. This evidence must show that the individual who caused the death was negligent. Key areas of investigation include:

  • Reviewing the local police or CHP accident report for any inaccuracies is important because errors can prevent a client from filing a claim.
  • Conducting an accident reconstruction demonstrates how the incident occurred and illustrates the positioning of the vehicles involved. Insurance companies and legal proceedings frequently use such evidence.
  • Interviewing witnesses of the collision since their statements can corroborate the events leading to the accident. In some circumstances, witnesses might have recorded the incident on their mobile devices.
  • Searching for any road, business, or traffic cameras that may have captured footage of the accident can provide important evidence indicating fault in the fatal Modesto motorcycle collision.
  • Once the evidence is compiled, our legal team takes the reins, utilizing it to build a strong case in support of our clients’ wrongful death claims.
