A Fresno motorcycle accident fatality occurred near the River Park Shopping Center on December 7, 2018. The tragic incident happened at approximately 4:00 in the afternoon near the intersection of Nee Avenue and Blackstone Avenue. An SUV was turning into a parking lot near the intersection when it was struck by a westbound motorcyclist. Medical personnel responding to the scene performed life-saving measures on the injured rider. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Officials have identified the victim as Roger Rowell, a 51-year-old resident of Fresno.

The intersection was closed for several hours for the investigation. The driver of the SUV was reported as being cooperative with authorities.
