The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported a recent fatal pedestrian accident involving multiple vehicles near the Delhi area in Merced County. The crash occurred on State Route 99 just north of Bradbury Road around 10:00 p.m.

CHP traffic officers are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run accident. Officials indicated that multiple drivers allegedly crashed into the pedestrian who was already lying down on the road.
