Fatal Vineyard Accident Occurs on Elk Horn Florin Road

A fatal Vineyard accident has taken the life of a 71-year-old woman after she was struck by a car on February 9. The collision occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m. at the Elk Grove Florin Road intersection with Robbins, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews responded to the incident and pronounced the pedestrian, identified as Nam Hoa Chiem of Vineyard, deceased at the scene. 

Fatal Vineyard Accident Being Investigated

Authorities confirmed the victim’s identity the following day through the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office. The CHP traffic collision unit has launched an investigation to determine the events leading up to the tragic accident.
