In honor of the 50th anniversary of Johnny Cash’s “At Folsom Prison” album, this once-in-a-lifetime event is not to be missed. Tickets reserve your spot for a three-course meal at the Sutter Street Steakhouse. Ticket buyers also get a spot in listening to the stories shared by W.S. “Fluke” Holland, the unforgettable drummer featured in the recordings of Johnny Cash’s “Million Dollar Quartet,” “The Highwaymen,” and “Tennessee Three.” Curious to know what it must have been like to be a part of these legendary moments? Ask the artist that lived through these mind-blowing experiences which undeniably shaped the history of music as we know it.
Demystifying Vinyasa Flow
Date: Saturday, August 18, 2018
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Location: 700 Oak Avenue Parkway, Folsom, CA 95630
Admission: $20 tickets
This yoga workshop welcomes all yogis that are interested in taking their practice to another level. Vinyasa yoga is a subtle, introspective, beautiful practice that focuses on knowing and loving yourself better than ever before. Vinyasa yoga doesn’t have a traditional meditation component like other forms but instead is focused on stretching, strengthening, and rejuvenating the body. This workshop will allow attendants to see live demonstrations and ask questions about different poses. Sun Salutation poses will be this weekend’s focus. You will learn proper body alignment while matching your breath with your body movements, all in order to achieve your personal “flow.”
Summer Vision Board Workshop
Date: Sunday, August 19, 2018
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: 929 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630
Admission: $45 – $60 tickets
The middle of the year is a great time to re-center yourself with your goals, dreams, and aspirations. All of this can be made easy by creating a vision board, a handy tool that helps you stay on track and focused on what’s important to you. During this workshop, participants will be introduced to some thought-provoking prompts, worksheets, and exercises to help you envision your ideal lifestyle. Whether this involves your career, family, relationships, or something in between, vision boards will help you identify your wishes and track your progress.
