Man Killed in Foothill Farms Pedestrian Accident
A 28-year-old man from Auburn died after being tragically hit by a car on March 11, 2016. The incident happened on Roseville Road in the Foothill Farms community.
Pedestrian Lloyd R. Massey was headed westbound along Roseville Road, south of Tacomic Drive. At approximately 3:30 a.m., he was hit by a Toyota Celica proceeding southbound on Roseville Road. Massey was hit while in the southbound lane, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The driver of the Toyota, Jose A. Dominguez, 59, of Sacramento, stayed at the accident scene, according to CHP.
Massey was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Sadly, he died as a result of his injuries.
CHP stated that Dominguez was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the collision. Officials indicated they had not yet determined if Massey was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
