Four Injured in DUI Crash in Turlock Area
Four parties were injured in a DUI crash in the Turlock area on the night of Saturday, July 17, 2021. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the wreck occurred at Griffith Avenue and Golden State Boulevard close to the Merced County border.

Shortly before 8:40 p.m., CHP traffic officers responded to a call of a crash involving a Chevrolet pickup truck and a black sedan. The driver of the sedan, a 25-year-old man, suffered injuries described as minor and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The three parties inside the Chevrolet included an adult male driver, a 3-year-old boy, and a woman. The woman and man both received treatment for unspecified injuries. The young boy was transported via air ambulance to the hospital to be treated for injuries described as serious. Additional information on the wreck was not immediately available.
