Galt Auto Accident Injures Six
Early Morning Crash
On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at approximately 8:00 a.m. in the morning, two vehicles were involved in an automobile accident that left a sedan so heavily damaged it barely looked like a car. Consumnes Community Services Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident.
Two Teen Brothers Critically Injured in the Sedan
The tragic collision happened as a sedan being driven by a 17-year-old male driver was proceeding westbound on Twin Cities Road around Cherokee Lane near Galt. Somehow his vehicle went out of control, spun around sideways and was hit by a pick up being driven eastbound on Twin Cities Road, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Tragically, the 17-year-old driver of the sedan and his 14-year-old brother, a passenger in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries.
Passengers in the Pick up sustained only minor injuries
There were four occupants in the pick up truck. They were all treated for relatively minor injuries sustained in the accident.
Cause of the Crash
