Summer Fun in Grass Valley
Summer is in full swing in Grass Valley, and unlike last year, community events are up and running. There are a number of fun things to do in the downtown area as the calendar page turns from July to August.
Thursday Night Market
The Grass Valley Thursday Night Market is a great outdoor community event. It includes a Certified Farmer’s Market, food vendors, musical acts, and a wine & beer garden. Shops along the route will be open and there will be an assortment of street vendors and artists peddling their wares. The event seeks to bring together the local and regional communities to the downtown Grass Valley area. Get to know others in your neighborhood as you stroll along the colorful and historic downtown streets.
The market runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event website, downtowngrassvalley.com, shows this Thursday, July 29, 2021, as the last one on the schedule. It’s going to be a hot one on that day, so bring your water bottle and stay hydrated!
The musical acts in the free summer concert series scheduled for this Thursday are:
