January 2019 Sacramento Community Event Calendar
Sacramento is one of those cities that just seems like it never stops growing; more and more people from other parts of California keep migrating to the capital. Once you step into Sacramento, it becomes clear why it is a desired destination. Sacramento gives off the big city vibes with a cheaper living cost than Los Angeles or San Francisco. Downtown Sacramento is a hot spot for those who crave a vivid nightlife scene, as there are high-class restaurants, colorful clubs, unique bars, and too many shopping centers to remember. If you’re in Sacramento this week, check out some upcoming activities that will be taking place this month.

The metal-infused works of Sally Shapiro and the acrylics/watercolors of Gabriel Garbow will create a warm atmosphere amid Sacramento’s chilly nights. Small and large creatures will be showcased in acrylics, ceramics, oil, and mixed media. Come support the talented, local artists who help make Sacramento a beautiful city.
Murder for Two
Date: Thursday, January 31, 2019
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: 1419 H St, Sacramento, CA 95814
Admission: $17 tickets
Murder for Two is an edgy yet classic plot line that twists music, comedy, and mayhem elements into one story. This may look like your typical whodunit, but there’s a twist: a detective who has to solve the murder mystery of an author and another actor who plays the variety of suspects – and they both play the piano. The Sacramento Theatre Company is excited to host such a killer musical at their Pollock Stage. If you’ve never seen a musical with only two cast members, mark your calendar because this might be the best one out there!
