Man Rescued from Burning Vehicle in Knights Ferry
A man was rescued from a burning vehicle after a car accident near Knights Ferry in Stanislaus County, CA, on the afternoon of June 21, 2020. The motor vehicle collision occurred on Highway 108, where a truck reportedly veered off the roadway and crashed into an embankment. A 45-year-old Modesto man witnessed the accident and immediately pulled over to assist. The good Samaritan, along with a Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy, freed the man from the truck, which was starting to smoke and catch fire.
