The Modesto Police Department (Modesto PD) reported a major injury pedestrian crash on the afternoon of Monday, April 4, 2022. The crash took place shortly after 4:05 p.m., close to the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and La Loma Avenue.

A woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a brown sedan, according to Modesto PD. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and was reported to be cooperative with investigators.
