Accident at Zinfandel Drive Intersection Injures Rider on Sports Motorcycle
A motorcycle collision near Rancho Cordova on August 28 caused major injuries to the rider. The accident was reported by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) as occurring shortly after 6:00 in the morning at the intersection of Zinfandel Drive and Douglas Road. Emergency responders with Sacramento Metro Fire arrived at the scene to assess the rider’s injuries and transported the patient to UC Davis Medical Center.
Additional Information About the Motorcycle Collision
A tow truck removed the sports motorcycle the rider was on at the time of the accident. It is unknown whether another vehicle was involved, or if this was a solo motorcycle crash. However, the CHP is carrying out an investigation to determine the cause.
