A motorcycle injury accident occurred on October 20 south of Rancho Murieta. The injury was reported around 8:18 a.m. along Meiss Road, according to the accident report by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The rider reportedly fell off his motorcycle after hitting a speed bump.
Injured Rider Transported to Hospital
The rider allegedly suffered a broken right arm and left leg in the single-vehicle collision. The crash occurred on private property at the shooting range where the rider stored his motorcycle. The injured motorcyclist was transported to Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center for further attention and care. The CHP is investigating to determine what caused the crash.
Premises Liability and a Motorcycle Injury Accident
When it comes to premises liability and a motorcycle injury accident, there are a few things you should know. First, premises liability is the legal responsibility that a property owner has to keep their visitors safe from harm. This means that if you’re injured while on someone else’s property, they may be held liable. For example, if no sign warning of a speed bump ahead was posted, the owner of the property might be liable for any accident injuries that occur.
Secondly, when it comes to motorcycle accidents, they are often much more severe than other types of crashes. This is because motorcycles offer very little protection to riders and so injuries sustained in these accidents can be very serious. If you’ve experienced a motorcycle injury accident, it’s important to seek medical attention immediately and then contact a lawyer who can help you recover damages.
Severity of Leg and Arm Injuries in a Motorcycle Crash
A motorcycle crash can cause severe injuries to the driver and passengers. The most common injuries are to the legs and arms. These injuries can range from bruises and scrapes to broken bones and amputations.
Trauma to the legs is usually more severe than arm injuries. This is because the legs are further away from the body and have less muscle and fat to protect them. Leg injuries can include fractures, dislocations and lacerations.
Arm injuries are usually less severe than leg injuries, but they can still be very painful. The most common arm injuries are fractures, sprains or dislocations.
